Brenda Osborn

Brenda Jo Osborn, 70, of Ashland, Nebraska passed away January 17, 2024.   Born on February 15, 1953, in Wichita Kansas to Elmer and JoAnn (Lindley) Osborn.

Brenda worked for thirty-plus years in the aviation industry for Cessna, Lockheed, and Learjet.

She was a die-hard Husker Football Fan and an avid traveler.  Brenda loved dolphins and spent time as a trainer of the day working and playing with dolphins at Sea World.   She also loved her family and played a big part in her nieces and nephews’ lives.

Brenda is survived by her mother JoAnn Osborn of Omaha, brother and sister-in-law Bobby and Hope Osborn of Dundee FL, sister and brother-in-law Robin and Tom Somma of Ashland, and sister-in-law Diane Osborn of Malcolm.

Nieces and Nephews:   Denise (Scott) Wegener of Omaha, Dan (Heather) Osborn of Malcolm, Benjamin (Megan) Osborn of Ocoee FL, Jessica Osborn of Mukwonago WI, Dayna (Casey) Mattson of Lincoln, Jonathan (Mandi) Osborn of Mukwonago WI, Joshua Osborn of Mukwonago WI, Christopher Vernon (Ali) Somma of Seaford NY, and Jennifer Somma of LaVista.

Great Nieces and Nephews:   Harrison, Eve, Emily, Reece, Ryan, Dillon, Christopher, Caeden, Evan, Audrey, Kali, Gavin, Emma, Lincoln, and Christopher David.

She was proceeded in death by her father Elmer Vernon and brother David Vernon.

Brenda’s wishes to be cremated were honored and the family will have a celebration of her life on April 13, 2024.
