Clarence "Ray" Pancake

Clarence "Ray" Pancake passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 in LaVista, NE peacefully with family. He was 91 years old. Ray was the third child of Clarence and Clarissa Pancake, born on May 10, 1930. He married Evelyn Lucille Weber on April 26, 1952 in Pierre, South Dakota. They had four children together. Ray worked as a maintenance mechanic and served in Korea from May 7, 1952 to May 4, 1954. He was 91 years old when he passed away.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Simon John Pancake and Wilma Jean Pancake Lanz; wife, Evelyn Lucille Weber Pancake; two of his children, Kevin Ray Pancake and Roxanne Pancake; daughter in law, Kimberly Kay Maben Pancake and great grandson, Ryder Isaac Richardson. He is survived by son Clarence William (Willy) Pancake and his son William (Billy) Clarence Pancake; son Kelley Ray Pancake and his wife Katrina Marie Bouwman Pancake, and their children, Kyle Ray Pancake (wife Rianne Veree Abrams Pancake and children Jackson Ray, Corbin Anthony, and Emmerson Clarence), Kaycee Lynn Pancake Richardson (husband Tyler Grant Richardson and daughter Skylar Paige Richardson), and Kenneth Paul Pancake (wife Breana McMichael Pancake).
A funeral service will be held at Cornerstone Church in LaVista, NE on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 1:00 pm, and he will be laid to rest in Ainsworth, NE the following day. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in honor of Ray to the Alzheimer's Association.
