Danyl Alicia Holt passed away peacefully on November 14, 2021, from lung cancer, at the age of 49. She was born in New London, CT on December 30, 1971 to Nancy Lynn Navarro and Franklin Holt Sr. Danyl grew up in the Omaha area and lived there her entire life. Her early days were spent in Bellevue, NE, with her Mom, now, Nancy Ordway, her stepdad, Darrell Ordway, Sr, and her brother Darrell Jr. After they divorced, Nancy unexpectedly passed away on Oct 4th, 1984. Danyl went to live with Blanche and Lloyd Collins of Bellevue. She was happy there. Later, she lived with her maternal Aunt Lois, and attended high school. She graduated from North High School in 1991, and lived independently. Danyl met Jose Hugo Ponce (El Salvador) had two children: Maria Ann and Fernando Hugo. Most of her adult life, she received residential and vocational support thru Duet. She was engaged in many activities throughout her life. She was an AVID Nebraska Cornhusker fan all her life. Red was her game day color. Bowling was a great source of fun and social contact for her. Danyl was also a creative person, beading many a friendship bracelet for family and friends. Visiting and having outings with her family and friends meant everything to her. As a family, we will miss her wide smile and loving nature.
Danyl is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Ordway, Stepfather Darrell Ordway, Sr., her father, Franklin Holt Sr.and maternal grandmother, Jewel Navarro. She is survived by her children, Maria Navarro, Omaha and Fernando (Bricia) Navarro, LaVista. By her brother, Darrell Jr (Leslie) and Sariah, Jessica, Addie, and Graysen, all of Arizona; her Aunt Lois Navarro, Omaha.; brother, Franklin Holt Jr of Boston and the Holt family; by her "Grandmother" Blanche Collins, Bellevue and the Collins family; and by her special friend, Michael, Omaha.
Funeral services will be held at the Ralston La Vista Ward, of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 11:00am. Burial will be held at the Papillion Cemetery.
