Donald R. Johnson, age 86, of Apple Valley, MN passed away December 9, 2016 at the Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha, NE. He was born on February 8, 1930 in Dovray, Minnesota to the late Elmer and Sabina (Comnick) Johnson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Jean Johnson; sister, Stella Cohrs; and brothers, Archie and Harold Johnson.
He is survived by his sons, Donald L. Johnson (Robin) of Apple Valley and Charles Johnson (Kathy) of Omaha, NE; 5 grandchildren; and twin sister Dorothy Gebhard of Fresno, CA.
Memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday December 19th at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 14980 Diamond Path West, Rosemount, MN. Inurnment will be in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Memorials may be directed to Our Savior Lutheran Church Building Fund 14980 Diamond Path West Rosemount, MN.
