Duane L Marine

Duane Marine, age 71, passed away peacefully at Methodist Fremont Health December 10, 2024. He was born August 7, 1953 to Vernon and Joyce (Cates) Marine in Oakland, NE. Duane grew up in Lyons, NE where he was raised by his mother and “father” Joyce and Earl Richardson. Duane lived in Fremont the majority of his life until moving to Oregon. Duane returned to Nebraska in 2012 and lived in Uehling so he could be closer to his family. Duane enjoyed collecting and shooting guns, riding motorcycles and spending time with his family. His pride and joy was his kids and grandkids.

Duane was preceded in death by; his father, Earl Richardson and mother, Joyce Richardson as well as his son-in-law, Robert (Bob) Fatica.Duane is survived by; daughter, Michelle Fatica of Fremont; son, Adam Marine of Grand Island; daughter, Mandy Allen (Larry Allen) of Fremont; brother, Dennis Marine of Vacaville, CA, sister Kristi Lindholm of Lincoln, 9 grandkids and 2 nieces.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family.
