Gary Ray Muff, peacefully passed away on July 13, 2024, in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 53. He was born on November 11, 1970, in Atkinson, Nebraska, to Wayne and Dawn Muff.
Gary's life was a testament to quiet kindness and a deep love for his family. Despite his personal struggles, his faith in Jesus Christ remained a cornerstone of his life, guiding him through both joyous and challenging times.
Gary leaves behind a legacy of love through his surviving family members: his father Wayne Muff; his children, Michaela Gerdes, Cortney (Tyler) Summerfield, Logan (Christian) Ramirez, and Hunter Muff; and his cherished 14 grandchildren: Jayden, Jaxson, Jordan, Jada, Jemma, Sloan, Brexley, Jayden, Destiny, Ja'liyah, Xavier, and Jorden. He is also survived by his brother Andrew (Traci) Bolich, sister Jennifer "Staci" Rodriguez, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dawn Muff, and his sister Darla Peterson.
In quiet moments, Gary found solace in his faith, which brought him comfort and strength. His gentle demeanor and compassionate heart endeared him to those who knew him best, leaving an indelible mark on their lives. In loud moments, Gary enjoyed Jimi Hendricks, Nebraska Football, and helping his friends.
Gary Ray Muff will be remembered fondly for his kindness, his love for his family, and his enduring faith. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial service to celebrate Gary's life will be held at a later date.
