James Howard Archer, 63, of Council Bluffs, IA, passed away on May 9th after a valiant battle with esophageal cancer.
James was born on January 26th, 1961 to Leslie and Barbara Archer of Council Bluffs. After attending High School at Abraham Lincoln, he went on to study Mechanics at General Motors. He successfully owned his own mechanics shop and later in life went on to work for himself as a general contractor.
James spent his time watching Iowa Hawkeyes football, listening to music, barbecuing for his family and spoiling his grandchildren as much as possible.
James is predeceased in death by his parents and his brother, Doug. He is survived by his significant other, Toni Christiansen; his brother, Todd; his children, Kelley, Graham, Jack and Dallas; his step children Amy and Amber Delezene; and his grandchildren, Claire, Kylah, Cashius, Deacon, Gabe, Teagan, and one great granddaughter Josephine.
