James Harold Bartles, age 58, of Glenwood, passed away in Council Bluffs on January 12, 2017.
He was born in Council Bluffs on November 26, 1958 to Gerald Sr. and Rose (Fisher) Bartles.
James is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Sr.; brother, Rod Bartles; nephew, John Bloomer; and niece, Brandi Bartles.
He is survived by his mother, Rose; son, Heath Bartles (Anne); daughter, Holly Raymond; grandchildren, Katlyn and Karlee Raymond, Adrian, Evann, and Charlie Bartles; brother, Sam Bartles; sisters, Jody Lawrence (Estil Richmond), Sherry Bloomer (Ernie), Ruth Brittain (Brian).
Visitation is Thursday 7:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church- 705 Bradford Avenue, Emerson, Iowa. Memorial service is 11:00 a.m., on Friday, at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family.
