Joy Carole Roark (Jeffries)

December 31, 1940 - November 23, 2024

Joy, appropriately named and loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully in her home early Saturday morning surrounded by her children in Omaha NE. 

Preceded in death by her loving husband Don, parents DB Jeffries and Leta Bliss, brother Jerry, son Terry and granddaughter Aly. 

Survived by her children Lee (Marcy), Kevin (Kelly), Scott (Linda); grandchildren Tim (Dani), Katelyn, Kevin (Tori); great grandchildren Theo and Logan; and many nieces and nephews. 

Joy will be fondly remembered with love by all who knew her. Special thanks to the many University of Nebraska doctors and nurses who cared for and about her throughout her illnesses. Memorials preferred to the Sandhill Crane Trust at: www.cranetrust.org. Private family celebration will be held in the Spring when she joins her husband at the Omaha National Cemetery.
