Julee Case Isaac, age 68, of Omaha, Nebraska died peacefully after a prolonged illness on 11 November 2017.
She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Idonna and Gene Case on a snowy 10 February 1949. Showing talent and sparkle even as a child, she was a featured dancer on the popular local television show, "Martells Marvels." She graduated from the University of California Riverside and went on to work as a journalist and photographer for several newspapers and magazines in Texas and California. However, Julee said that her happiest working days were at the IRS and Opera/Omaha in Nebraska.
She had a profound love of music that ran from classical to hard rock, a devotee of abstract art, and a truly spiritual connection to nature. Julee had a legendary love of cats and always had at least one and, at one time, as many as nine. Her best quality was her gift for finding people who felt lonely and isolated and helping them to find new circles of friends, where they could be happy and thrive.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Isaac; daughter, Aubrey Isaac; brother, Evan Case; step-siblings, Cathie McBride and John Case; great aunt, Bonnie Sheffield; cherished friends Bruce (Buffy) Bufkin, Bradley Haumont, and Connie Meunier.
Julee requested that no sad and gloomy services should be done for her. She did request that those who loved her might make a donation to The Nebraska Humane Society, the Arbor Society, World Wildlife Federation, or any environmentally friendly charity in her name.
