Karen Kaye Thompson Age 84 of Council Bluffs, IA passed away on March 3, 2023. She was born in Cedar Rapids, IA on November 22, 1938. She graduated from Franklin High School in Cedar Rapids, IA in 1956.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donovan and Genevieve (Streeter) Tharp; brothers, Richard Tharp and Donovan Tharp, Jr. and great-grandson, Jackson Tanner Rabe.
Karen is survived by her husband, D.A. Thompson; children, Ken Thompson (Kit); Kim Thompsen (John) and Kathryn Larson; 5-grandchildren; 6-great grandchildren; brother, Ronald Tharp and many other family and friends.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held with family and friends at a later date.
