Larry Brown

Larry Brown, age 66, passed away peacefully at Nebraska Medicine June 8, 2024. He was born August 1, 1957 to Harold Brown and Ruby (Purcell) Brown in Nebraska City, NE. Larry lived in Salem, NE the majority of his life. Larry enjoyed working on cars, playing drums and guitar, and spending time with friends and family. His pride and joy was his daughter and grandchildren.

Larry is preceded in death by father, Harold Brown; mother, Ruby Purcell; grandson Wayne Brown (bugs); and brother Harold "Gene" Brown.

Larry is survived by Cheyenne (Seth) Pingel - daughter, of Mapleton IA; grandchildren Zane and Madison Pingel of Mapleton Iowa; brothers Rocky (Candy) Brown, Billy (Lynn) Brown, Tony (Barb) Brown of Salem, NE; sisters Kathy Olsen of Salem NE, Melissa (Mike) Hall of Fremont NE; girlfriend Laurie Young of Salem NE; and many nieces and nephews.

FAREWELL PARTY Saturday, June 29, at 2pm at the Salem Community Hall (Salem, NE). The family will direct memorials.
