Larry Dale McElhaney, age 53, of Bellevue, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016. He was born in Wadsworth, Ohio on August 11, 1962 to Louis and Linda (Painter) McElhaney Jr.
Larry was a Veteran of the United States Airforce. He married Monica Newell on August 17, 1985 in Rootstown, Ohio. Larry enjoyed watching sports, participating in church activities, children's ministry and the church media team. He was always ready to volunteer.
He is survived by his wife, Monica; twin sons, Zachary and Matthew; parents, twin brother, Lou and wife Renee', brothers, Mike and wife Sherrie and Mark and wife Pam; sister, Rachel Reichenbach; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
A Celebration of Larry's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2016 at the LifeSpring Church, 13904 S. 36th Street, Bellevue, NE. Inurnment will take place Saturday at Calvary Cemetery.
The family will direct memorials.
