Lea Remmenga

Lea Joan, passed away peacefully at Children's Hospital June 9, 2024. She was born January 15, 2024 to Jason Remmenga and Elaina Nietfeld in Kearney, NE. Lea lived happily in Holdrege, NE with her parents. Lea enjoyed spending time with her dog (Daisy) and going out to the lake. Her pride and joy was playing in the bathtub with her toys, getting snuggles, playing peek-a-boo, and being outside sunbathing and giggling with her mama.

In addition she was preceded in death by Great-Great Grandma Mary Lee and Grandpa Pete Torres, Great Great Grandparents Ivan and Maggie Lempke, Great Grandparents Jerry and Dena Merithew, Aunts Tami Nicholas, Dawn Torres and Uncle Richard Torres. Great Grandma Cheryl Mattison, Uncle Ben Berroth.

Lea is survived by Elaina Nietfeld, child's mother of Grand Island. Her parents, Nicholas and Cheryl Nietfeld of Grand Island and maternal grandparents Richard and Iola Torres. Paternal grandparents Dennis and Lynn Terry, Jr. and Jerry Nietfeld. Uncle Bradley Nietfeld, and Uncle Noah Boyd and Aunt Magdalynn Nietfeld. Her Father Jason Remmenga of Holdrege, His parents Tom and Chris Remmenga of Bertrand. Aunt Noelle Ortgiesen(JD), Aunt Lacey Berroth, Aunt Jade Remmenga and 8 cousins from both sides.

Services for Baby Lea Joan will be at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grand Island, Nebraska on Friday 6-21-24 at 3pm and reception to follow mass. Family and friends are welcome to come to celebrate her life.
