Lillie Drake

In loving Memory of Lillie Knudsen - Drake.

Lillie Knudsen - Drake passed away peacefully January 15, 2025 in Council Bluffs, Iowa at the age of 93 years, surrounded by her daughters. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska on October 30, 1931.

Lillie dedicated her life to Jehovah God in 1953 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was a loyal and faithful servant of Jehovah for 71 years, teaching Bible truth to many, many rightly disposed ones along with her husband, Tom Knudsen, who brought 5 children to baptism.

They valued the Christian meetings and field service - truly living testimonies of their faith. Lillie was the most loving, devoted, vibrant, and joyful mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

She smiled to all she came across and was known for her style and masterful baking of pies! She so loved being a "Hostess of the Mostess" with the warmest hospitality. Her cheerful spirit and love for Jehovah God, and her family. She will be deeply missed by so many. She knew whether we walked through Armageddon or needed to be awakened from death's sleep, her hope was sure.

Lillie is preceded in death by her husband of 60 and half years, Tom Knudsen; late husband of 10 and a half years, Harold Drake; parents Phillip and Lillie Reeves; siblings Arthur, Phyllis, and Phillip, Jr.; son Gary Knudsen; and grandson Derek Zeman.

She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Linda (Glenn - dec.) Hrdy, Diana (James) Brix, Nina (Bruce) Hurlbert, and Wanda (Wayne) Anderson; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; and nieces, nephews, and other family.
