Michael Melhorn

Michael A. Melhorn passed away July 16, 2024 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 71 years. He was born August 24, 1952 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Michael was a mental health therapist in Omaha and surrounding area for over 35 years. He loved to drive fast on his motorcycles and in his cars. He loved animals, especially his dog Scout. He was a martial arts master with a second degree black belt in tae kwon do, and many years practicing judo and jiu jitsu. He was a lover of music, both listening and playing his guitar. He was a fountain of knowledge and will be dearly missed. 

Michael is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughter Evelyn (Justin Pitt) Melhorn; brothers, sisters, and other family; and his dog Scout.
