In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, William Koeppen III; sister, Jo Marie Anderson.
Richard is survived by nieces and nephews: Michaella Johnson, Portland, OR; William Koeppen IV, Omaha; Barbara Koeppen, TX; Stephen Koeppen, Dallas, TX; adopted sister, Nancy Maki, Longview, WA; 7 great nieces and nephews; numerous cousins and and many loyal and dear friends.
