Roselee (Rosie) Moore Smith passed away peacefully at her home in Tekamah, NE on Monday, March 21, 2016.
She was born March 29, 1934 in Fort Calhoun, NE to Peter and Helen Schmidt. She was raised in Fort Calhoun, NE and spent most of her adult life living in Tekamah, NE.
She worked in service to others cooking at various cafes and restaurants. She enjoyed coffee, bowling, socializing, min pins, and playing cards. She had a smile and laugh that were contagious.
She married Carol (Coondog) Moore and from that union, had five children: Susie Smith, Linda (Richard) Uhing, Cindy (John) Dewhurst, Steve (Beth) Moore all of Tekamah, NE and Ruth (Bob) Warrick of Blair, NE.
She is survived by her children, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by great granddaughter, Alonna Moore; parents, Peter and Helen; all of her siblings, Thelma, Faye, George, Glenn, Norma, Ruth, Betty, Pat, Charles; and her beloved, Elmer.
A Memorial Service celebrating her life will take place Saturday, March 26, 2016 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Herman Legion Hall in Herman, NE.
