He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Gloria Jean Evans; son, Tim Evans; siblings, Jim Evans, Ferne Beargeon and Judy Harris.
Roy is survived by his children, Terry Deane (Dennis), Sheri Evans, Randy Evans (Cindi); brother Robert Evans; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial service is 10:00 a.m. on Friday October 7, 2016 at the Burt Street Chapel 3528 Burt Street in Omaha. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family.
