Sharon Kaye Kologenski (Simpson)

Sharon Kaye (Simpson) Kologenski, age 85, passed away peacefully at home on August 26, 2024. 

She was preceded in death by parents, James Russell and Mary Doreen Jones Simpson; sister Peggy Anne (Simpson, Shinrock) Gummell; brothers, James Russell Simpson, Jr., William Roger Simpson and best friend Barbara Grace Corcoran.

She is survived by children Dori (Eldon) Janicek and Carol (Bill) Peck; grandchildren Jennifer (Matt) Becker and Billy (Amanda) Peck and great-grandchildren Eldon, Kyle, RaeAnne and Logan. 

Sharon was born March 6, 1939 in Clarinda, IA.; graduated from Technical High School in Omaha, NE. and retired from Farm Credit Services. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, planting flowers and crafting.

Her wish was for her family to have a private get together without any public services.
