Shelley Dworak

Shelley Lynn Dworak, 56, of Omaha NE., passed away on October 17, 2023 at Unity Point St. Luke's Hospital in Sioux City, IA. surrounded by family. Born Shelley Lynn Seaton, on May 22, 1967, in Omaha, NE., daughter of Darrell J. Seaton.

Shelley's passions included family, caring for children, and her dogs. She worked as a Nanny for many years, helping other families raise their own children. In 1998, she was blessed with a son, Cody Highfield, and continued to work, taking Cody with her every day. In February 2010, she married Mike Dworak of Omaha, NE. She enjoyed walking her dogs, playing cards, going to Vala's Pumpkin Patchin the Fall, but most of all, spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by John and Geraldine Seaton (Grandparents), Ronald, Luetta and Maria Seaton (Uncle and Aunts), and Gary and JoAnn Seaton (Uncle and Aunt), and her dogs Cocoa, Mason, and Diamond.

She leaves behind her husband Mike Dworak (Omaha), her son Cody Highfield (Omaha), her dad Darrell Seaton (Sioux City), her brother Tim Seaton (Colleen Hughes)(Omaha), her sister Sandy (Eric) Hazuka (Sioux City), her dogs Brody, Bear, Jetta, and Scout, nieces, nephews, five grandchildren, and several other family members.

Shelley was not only a daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, but a guiding star in our lives. Her love and her memory will live on in hearts forever. She will be dearly missed, but her love will never be forgotten.
