He was born on October 20, 1955 in Omaha to Louis and Delores (Hovorka) Swirczek.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis and brother, Gary.
Steven is survived by his mother, Delores Swirczek; brothers, Tom, David and Jim (Mary) Swirczek; nephews and nieces, Todd (Anna), Jodi, Hannah and Josh; and many special friends.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
