Tammy L. Kunasek

Tammy Lynn (Bohac) Kunasek passed away November 21, 2023, at the age of 61. She was born August 18, 1962, in Omaha, Nebraska.

Tammy combined her love of people and traveling into working as a travel agent and flight attendant for many years.

Tammy’s passions included spending time with family, especially daughter Kenzie (Jack Henry) and grandson Sasha, traveling, socializing, playing Blackjack, and making friends with everyone she met. Tammy loved with her whole heart and will be remembered for her one-of-a-kind, outgoing, and fearless personality.

Tammy is survived by her daughter Kenzie (Jack Henry) Sehi; sisters Leona Sandoval and Susan (Vern) Clark of Omaha; stepchildren Michele Kunasek of York, NE, Jay Kunasek of Republican City, NE; grandchildren Jocelyn, Lukas, Atlee, Dax and Sasha, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Tammy is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Brunhilde (Nancy) Bohac.

We want to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at UNMC for their compassion and optimism while caring for Tammy.

Memorial services will be held at Unity Church on December 1, 2023, at 4:00 pm with a luncheon to follow.
